I love this house. It’s the old manor house of a large estate in the very north of Germany, close to the Danish border and the Baltic sea. It stands solitary in a park of ancient trees, surrounded by a moat. On the other side of the moat lie the immense fields of the estate. It has been standing there for more than 400 years.
