Bogotá Street Scenes #10

Nothing better on a rainy, dark sunday afternoon, than going for an Ajiaco:  creamy, rich comfort food and my absolute favorite meal in Colombia. It’s made from chicken and different types of potatoes, and spiced with Guascas, a herb with a very specific taste, known only as a common weed here in Germany. It’s served with avocado, rice, and capers. Heaven. Oh how I wish I could get my hands on an Ajiaco  these days…

  1. I bought Guascos when I was in Colombia this year so I can make Ajiaco. What is the the name of the “weed”? Maybe you can get it in Germany and I can find it here when I run out!
