Faune et flore

It is funny how different you perceive your surroundings when you are in a place you’ve never been before. Living in the farmhouse in South France I spent hours in the gardens and on the hillside taking pictures of the wild flowers and all the little bugs and flying things around. When I came back home to Germany I noticed the abundance of wild flowers we have here, and which I had totally ignored for years. So yes, going away also changes how you view your home.
