Beautiful Barjac

Barjac is a little town in the Languedoc-Roussillon area in South France. It has an old, charming  renaissance centre with narrow streets and a beautiful view of the plain that lies beyond it. I went there this summer, just for one evening. The drive from the Aigueze, where we stayed, lead over some very small serpentine streets and along lavender fields.

The town hall.
